This site uses KeywordLuv
Hello everyone. I enjoy alternative power, so this site is more of a labor of love than a job for me. However, I am also a professional SEO (search engine optimization expert). I know how difficult it can be to build solid backlinks to promote your website. I have personally benefited from the dofollow KeywordLuv plugin available on many websites, and as a return “thank you” have also enabled it on my own website.
However, there is the issue of comment spam. Comment spam is so bad that even the creator of KeywordLuv has disabled it on his own website. Please do not waste my time, and your time, if you wish to take advantage of the KeywordLuv dofollow links available on this website then remember to stick to these rules and remember these points.
- I moderate every post. There are no automatic backlinks you can generate here, I personally review any comment made before it is accepted.
- Comments that relate to the article. If you make a comment on this website, have it be related to the topic at hand. I am not interested in “great job” and “that was informative” posts — earn your dofollow backlink by adding to discussion on the page. I will know if you copy and paste someone else’s comment.
- No “bad neighborhood” topics. If you are backlinking, then you are a SEO professional. Most SEO professionals know what a “bad neighborhood” topic is. No v1agra, c1alis, ph4rmaceuticals, gambl1ng, p0rn or other topics that are generally recognized to be problematic when it comes to spamming.
- Your website must = quality. I’m offering dofollow backlinks here, and I am not naive enough to do so without first inspecting the quality of the website I’m allowing the link to. I will personally verify all linked websites to establish their quality. Are you linking to repl1ca watches? Did you know that repl1ca watches are illegal? (This type of link would be refused). Linking to Ugg boots? If you have a quality website that has a couple articles about the quality of Ugg boots and other useful information beyond a “buy” button, that is great — leave a thoughtful on-topic comment and your dofollow backlink is considered earned. Linking to Maryland divorce attorney, and the website is an actual divorce attorney firm that resides in Maryland? Great — your thoughtful comment is appreciated and dofollow backlink is earned. Linking to “Maryland divorce attorney”, and all it is is a landing page where you collect data to resell — and it is one of 50 pages you have for each state on the website, without having any quality information or articles relating to divorce attorneys in Maryland? This type of link would be refused. Affiliate links are not allowed, but a page leading to an informative article that then leads to an affiliate page is allowed. Just imagine you are submitting the site as a link to ezinearticles, if ezinearticles would reject it — I would too.
- Use common sense. This site is about solar panels, alternative energy and conserving energy. I am promoting guides on how to build your own solar panels. If you are promoting the same thing — do not be disrespectful by promoting your how-to homemade solar panel guide here. On the other hand, if you actually sell solar panels, are a professional installer of retail solar panels — or any other topic dealing with solar power or alternative energy — your comments are most welcome (your comments are bound to be the most helpful to my readers of all).
- One link per website. Please do not go through my blog and add a comment to every single post, adding the same backlink over and over. One backlink per website is plenty enough.
If you came here from a search engine, most likely you came here searching for “This site uses KeywordLuv. Enter YourName@YourKeywords in the Name field to take advantage.“, with the intent of earning a dofollow backlink to your website. If you want to contribute to the discussion by adding a valuable comment helpful to my readers, welcome! I’m glad you showed up and look forward to authorizing your comment and backlink. If you don’t know anything about solar panels, you may need to do a few minutes of research before you can add a beneficial comment here. If you came here to spam and move on in 60 seconds or less, save your time and my time, because your comment will not be accepted.
PS: This particular article is about KeywordLuv, and lightly treads the concepts of SEO and backlinks. A comment on this page would need to be specific to these topics. As you can imagine, people heavily search for the KeywordLuv topic to find blogs to backlink from. I’m expecting this page to get a barely-manageable deluge of comments. Do you really want to post your backlink on this page and share it with the dozens or hundreds of people who will eventually post on this particular page? Remember you only get one link per website. Perhaps you should look through my blog and find another topic to make a thoughtful comment on — as topics regarding alternative energy, solar power, making solar panels and other articles that actually reflect the main content of this website. These are the topics in which I would most prefer receiving thoughtful comments — and at the same time they will receive less comments than this particular page so your hard work in providing a comment won’t have to be shared with 100s of other backlinks.
KeywordLuv is beneficial for the both of us; the commentator and the blog owner. This will in turn drive traffic and optimize my targeted keyword. As a blog owner, time spent filling out this comment section will increase your site rankings in Alexa.
What do you think?
I just wanted to say thanks for using KeywordLuv! It’s my favorite part about blogs because then I don’t have to feel like I’m spamming people and I’m more effective while blogging
I love your site by the way, I’ve always wanted to build my own solar panel car so this will really help!
Yeah, one link per website is really the right way on placing links on a each domain. The said description here is really amazing. Having read this one must have his blog site to have a good quality which is in proper format in professional basis. And to make your visitors and guests happy when they want to comment, you should have the plug-in commentluv and keywordluv enabled. This would be a great advantage since they could promote their blogs and their keywords.
I like your rules! I think these rules should be enforced on all blogs…whether they have KeywordLuv enabled or not. By the way, a new neighborhood near me has “solar ready” homes for sale and I was doing a little research and found your site. I think having a home with built in solar energy is a great way to avoid much of the cost af installation and keep the home looking good!
Thanks for the well done explanation of the inner workings of the Keyword Luv tool. I however, have been an avid user of the ComLuv variety and wasn’t aware these two were separate items.
The research never ends..lol
I came to know about the Keyword Luv tool. I am satisfied with one link per website. I do not want more. This site is a good one as the comments here will be relevant to the topic and no useless comments will be published. Solar energy is really one of the best way to get non-conventional source of energy.
I might copy the basics of your rules for my own site. I am in the process of setting up a jewellery site and I don’t want it flooded with scam. The KeywordLuv thing will really help people enter into discussion with names so it’s all genuine.
Keywordluv has helped blogowner and commentator both.It helps us in building quality links and helps blog owner in controlling spam.
It’s a sad commentary that those following the rules suffer at the hands of those who are unethical.
I was thinking about this this morning as I spent another 15 minutes deleting spam from my inbox. I get tens of thousands of spam emails every week. Think of the lost productivity and man hours!
I have used CommentLuv for some time and recently added KeywordLuv to one blog. Yup, spam is up. Akismet is pretty good at catching it so far.
I really like your rules for leaving a valuable comment. Keywordluv is a valuable plugin that provides a backlink for those leaving comments and content for the website such as this where the comment is left.
RE; Solar power in the UK, whilst a worthwhile cause and option, unless you are reasonably wealthy or purchasing property with it installed, can you otherwise justify the cost of installation as opposed to actual energy cost savings. Taking into account the degree of sunlight in this country (not ground scource heating on about here), solar power is only sufficient to feed hot water supplies, people still need an alternative power scource for central heating. Also, you will probably find in later years the maintenance / replacements costs might not be a viable financial option for most people.
Anyhow I’d love to hear your comments either on here or via e-mail.
Look forward to hearing from you.
Amanda
Ps: tx for the backlink.
I would like your rules! By the way, close to a new neighborhood for me is the “solar ready” homes for sale and I was doing a little research and find on your site. I think that having a home built in solar energy is a great way to avoid most of the costs of installation.
As Jones stated above. Its a win-win situation for both the blog owner and the commenter. The blog owner gets more relevant content to his blog/site and the commenter gets a good link to a site. And it also help prevents spam. Since i started use KeywordLuv I have got more interesting answers back from users then before.
I find websites that use keyword luv to have much more quality feedback. On a side note, I think you’re whole green energy blog is great. I considered making one a few years ago, because I think it’s a great idea. But, I just didnt have the passion for it the same way I do for mountain biking. Keep up the good work!
I think KeywordLuv is great, but you’re right you definitely have to moderate and keep things on topic. I have a few wordpress blogs and it is amazing how much spam is generated in just the comments alone!
I came over from Just Ask Kim as I was just looking for a great blog to read and more information on the dofollow and keywordluv blogs. But, my husband and I are really looking into having our house be completely green via solar paneling. I really look forward to following your blog for more information.
Once you’ve been in the “blog business” for a while, it is not hard to spot quality blogs. (And the opposite!) Thank You for being genuine and very informative.
Vanilla Ice article is awesome. The picture of him cracks me up!! I am old enough to remember when he was actually considered cool. LOL
Have a great Friday!!
